Remembrance Day
Today, Bear Class learnt all about the meaning of Remembrance Day and we created some beautiful poppy art using our fingerprints. We each made a small wooden disc and now we are going to hang them in the classroom to create our own class wreath.
After we had made our poppies we all listened to 'The Last Post' and then took two minutes to think about all of the brave people who have fought in the wars. The children also enjoyed making poppies and pictures during their free learning time. See our gallery page to see our poppies up close!
