In our school, the teaching of science inspires and nurtures a scientific curiosity about the world around them. Our curriculum focuses on building scientific knowledge and skills so each child is able to independently investigate their own questions about the world around them. Using key figures in scientific discovery as inspiration, we learn how to collate and organise our scientific understanding of each topic. Through our skills and knowledge progression we ensure we consolidate prior learning and build subsequent learning.
