The children had a great day on Thursday creating their own Mars Rovers. Mr Holmes from Test Valley came in to teach us all about the Mars Rover landing. We learnt a bit about space and then got to create our own Rovers. We first had to decide what we could take with us to search and test for particular things on Mars such as the soil and the gases in the air. Each item had a particular weight, but we were only allowed to have 40kg! Then we got to create our own versions of the Mars Rovers.
