African Drumming
Darwin Class were lucky enough to have an African Drumming session this week whilst Adamson Class, who usually learn the drums each Tuesday, were out on their class trip. We had a great time learning some of the names of the drums and then having a go on the different instruments. There were different drums made from natural materials and a variety of percussion instruments that were all new to us! We managed to keep time with the teacher and put together some songs with each section beating different rhythms. We learnt some simple African songs and then played a 'call and response' game. Great fun had by all!
